Refund Policy

Cancellation of Registration:
If you wish to cancel your course registration, you will need to contact us at info@ffds.co.za, hereafter you will be required to complete and submit a cancellation of registration form together with the required supporting documents and the reason for cancellation.

The Process for Cancellation:
You have a right to cancel your course and receive a refund: You have fourteen calendar days from the date of your first payment to request a cancellation and/or return. If you would like to cancel after the aforementioned days, you shall be liable to pay the reasonable cancellation costs of the course fees.

  • Cancellation within one (1) month before training date, a 25% cancellation fees will be charged
  • Cancellation within two (2) weeks before training date, a 50% cancellation fees will be charged
  • Cancellation within one (1) week before training date, a 100% cancellation fees will be charged

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that you receive confirmation of cancellation from FFDS. You will not be able to cancel your course once it has commenced. Your refund may be paid to you within 30 days after we receive, accept and approve your request for cancellation of enrolment.

FFDS’ right to cancel:
FFDS reserves the right to cancel a course if there is insufficient demand. Should this happen, you will receive a full refund within 300 business days of receiving your banking details. Please note that no interest will accrue on any amounts refunded to you and any applicable bank charges will be offset against the refunded amount.

Process for Course Deferral:
If you wish to apply to defer your course to the next scheduled presentation of that course, we require you to apply to us within fourteen days of the start of your chosen course. You will be required to pay a deferral fee equivalent to 25% of the full listed course fee, together with any increase in the course fees.
Should you wish to defer your course, please contact FFDS at info@ffds.co.za. Hereafter, we require you to complete and submit a deferral application form.

N.B:
You may not defer to a different course. You may only defer to the same course that you have already registered for and should deferral be granted, you will only be able to defer your course to the next semester and only up to a maximum period of 1 year. Any assignments completed prior to the date of the deferral will not get credited to you upon re-registration. You may only defer the course once. Should you fail to re-register for the next course you will forfeit your option to defer and will not be entitled to a refund.
If you choose to defer the course, this will be reflected and noted on your academic transcript. In order for the course to be deferred you must:
Pay the deferral fee of 25% and you must select the start date of the next course run which you wish to be registered
If you/us breach this agreement and the breach is not remedied within 7 days of receipt of a written notice from FFDS, we will be entitled to cancel this agreement and claim and or recover damages from you.
